I'm of the belief that we are already One with the energy.

The challenge is not trying to control the energy. The challange is both recognizing the pattern of the energy and then re-shaping it.

I agree with Prom -- we are necessarily part of the Energy.

I call it the Inseparable Union of Life (tm?

). Words cannot sufficiently describe what I am about to attempt, so please bear that limitation in mind.

"As above, so below". All that is, is part of the One; and the One is part of All that is. The point within a circle from which a mason cannot err.

"My" concept of the Inseparable Union of Life is that all that is, whether seen or unseen; fathomable or unfathomable, is connected, and ultimately One. A cell in our bodies no more knows it is part of us, than we know we are part of the Universal Consciousness -- "God", if you will.

This is where I certainly believe in a Supreme State of Being (full consciousness of being at One with the All), but not necessarily in a Supreme Being; a sentient being existing outside of creation and superior to all living, sentient beings.

One who has achieved that Supreme State of Being could theoretically exercise that control / influence WillieD refers to, but that would be immediately negated by the fact that It is part of that which is seeks to control. And in a sense that means we can all exercise that influence, because we do each of us form part of the all; of the Temple of Humanity.

As the Explanation of the Tracing Board in the 1st Degree (Lauderdale craft ritual) puts it:- "Viewed from above, with the wider vision of the spiritual world, it is seen that the Temple is really composed of living stones, each one of which is wrought, polished and ornamented by the true master builder, so that, while in itself beautiful and resplendent, each on contributes to the glory of the Architect and the wonderful builder, and the majesty of the divine plan may be seen, together with the beauty of each individual part."

Increasingly I find that skillfully applied love is the key to spiritual interventions e.g. where there is non-physical causes to physical dis-eases.

I find Will of little use although right Intent is essential.
