Last night Brethren, I attended the Edinburgh Defensive Band Lodge, #151, and witnessed their 225th rededication ceremony, which was carried out in an exemplary manner by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Edinburgh.
It was a lovely ceremony and very nice meal and Harmony afterwards.
It was nice to meet up with fellow internet Masons / forumites MrMason, Wayne Cowley, (again!) and of course Barri (from TFM), who is the RWM of Lodge 151. He carried out his duties very well indeed and looked resplendent in his new Master’s regalia.
Unfortunately I had to leave fairly early to return to Dundee, just as the Brethren were settling down to well organised “singalong” and entertainment. Alas, some of us had to work in the morning!
So congratulations to the Edinburgh Defensive Band Lodge, #151 and many thanks for a great evening!
